As the DP World Tour moves to mainland Europe, Calum Hill continued his good form with a tie for second place in the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed at Helsingborg, just missing out by one shot to home favourite and LET star, Linn Grant.
Starting the day 8 shots behind the overnight leader, Sebastian Soderberg, Calum came very close to his second DP World Tour title, but, as Soderberg returned to the pack, his 3-under par final round was not quite enough to pip Grant. The result does, however, move him up 3rd place on the DP World Tour European Swing, and to 21st place on the headline Race to Dubai.
Having just missed out on qualifying for the US Open in Pinehurst this week, Calum now has a break for 2 weeks, before he returns for the Italian Open, the BMW International and then his home event, the Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club.
With good past performances in the Scottish Open, Calum will be looking to build on his strong, recent form and surpass his previous highest finish on the Race to Dubai of 32nd place in 2021.
